- Agreement to Terms: By accessing or using the "TaxResidencyTracker" mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
- License: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.
- Ownership: The App and its materials, including but not limited to visual interfaces, graphics, design, data, computer code (including source code and object code), products, software, services, and all other elements of the App ("Materials") are owned by the App provider or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, modification, or distribution of the Materials is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

- Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy in location tracking and data calculations, the App may not be perfectly precise due to GPS limitations, network issues, or other technical factors. Location data should be verified independently for critical tax purposes. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or decisions made based on the use of the App.
- User Data and Privacy: TaxResidencyTracker is designed with user privacy as a top priority. All data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy section below for complete details on data handling.
- Subscription Services: TaxResidencyTracker offers subscription options including Weekly ($2.99), Monthly ($9.99), and Lifetime ($29.99) plans, processed through Apple's StoreKit service. Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Current subscriptions may not be cancelled during the active period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. - Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the App.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws and jurisdiction of the country/region where the App provider operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in this jurisdiction.
- Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Privacy Policy
- Data Collection: We do not collect, use, or share any personal data of users. No human will ever see your travel data, location history, or personal information.
- On-Device Processing: All data processing occurs locally on your device. Your travel stays, location data, documents, and calculations are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
- Location Data: The App uses location services to automatically track your travel for tax residency purposes. This location data is processed locally on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
- Document Storage: Any documents you attach to your stays (photos, PDFs, etc.) are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any external servers.
- Data Export: When you export your data, it is generated locally on your device and shared only through your chosen method (email, cloud storage, etc.). We do not have access to your exported data.
- Analytics: We do not use any analytics services that collect personal data. Any crash reports or usage statistics are anonymized and do not contain personal information.
- Third-Party Services: The App uses Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases, which is subject to Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your payment information or Apple ID details.
- Data Security: Your data is protected by iOS security features including device encryption, app sandboxing, and secure storage. We implement additional security measures to protect your data on your device.
- Data Retention: Your data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. We do not retain any copies of your data.
